I am an assistant professor in the Division of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Kentucky. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University in August 2014. My research interests lie in information retrieval, information extraction, text mining, knowledge representation and reasoning, knowledge discovery, ontology quality assurance, data integration and management, and big data analytics. In particular, my research goal is to develop software tools and algorithms to solve real-world biomedical and health informatics problems.
