Our lab specializes in the integration of microbiology with micro-technology. We apply electrochemical and optical techniques to probe microorganisms at micro- and nano-scale. We also study the integration of microbes with electronics. Here are some of the specific research areas:
1 Optical and electrical interfacing between cells and chips
2 Microfluidics
3 Chip-based biosensors
4 Medical sterilization technology
5 Astrobiology
